The Battle Of Ontario 2008, installment #1

The Leafs came up with a big win last night at the ACC, downing their hated rivals, the Ottawa Senators by a score of 3-2. The boys played gritty hockey and outshot the Sens by a convincing 38-24. Toskala was outstanding, especially at the end of the game, preventing the Sens from getting the equalizer as they pressured with the extra man. This team is already looking like a better team, more fun to watch and more competitive, than Leafs teams from the past few years. They may not have the talent of recent Leafs teams (Sundin, Tucker, etc.), but they have heart, soul, and they play together! They look like they're having a good time out there and the fans of Leafs Nation have really taken them to heart. I am looking forward to getting the chance to watch a full game, rather than just online highlights, but since I don't have cable, it's going to be awhile before I have a free night to do that. But you can bet that, despite the fact we have a losing record right now, I'm really enjoying what I see! GO LEAFS!

HE CUT HIS HAIR YEARS AGO!

Ya'll are just pissed that he took Sundin to school when he pretended to throw that stick into the crowd at the ACC!!!

That being said. You deserved that win. I hate it i hate it i hate it! but it's true! straight up. you outplayed us, without a doubt.

All that said, you won't make the playoffs and I'm confident our ship's sails will get righted. So enjoy the victories while they're here!
