struck by Lightning
It was a tough loss to Tampa Bay tonight for my beloved Blue & White, 3-2. Despite out-shooting the Bolts by a margin of 39-25, the Leafs couldn't find an equalizer to send them to yet another OT. Toskala did a great job in net, as he has already done for most games this year, but the boys couldn't get it done. Vincent Lecavalier put in two for the Lightning, both of them pretty, pretty goals and Jussi Jokinen also scored. In addition, first overall pick Steve Stamkos, a lifelong Buds fan, got his first NHL point tonight, an assist on the second Lecavalier goal. The Leafs got two powerplay goals from Matt Stajan and Mike Van Ryn and it was nice to see them getting it done with the man advantage. Next game sees the Leafs in New Jersey to take on the Devils tomorrow night
