The following is a small snippet from the official press conference announcing Brian Burke as the new President and GM of the Leafs, where Richard Peddie thanks Cliff Fletcher:
"On behalf of the entire Toronto Maple Leafs organization, I would like to thank Cliff for his contribution and commitment and contribution to the team over the last 11 months"
What's obvious to me is that Cliff must have made a substantial contribution for Richard to mention it not once, but twice in the same sentence. That's our CEO! Nice work, Mr. Peddie!
